Project 03 Design Process

Design Brief

Queston 01: What is the purpose or goal of the design?

The goal of the design is to inform the audience of the correct way to wash their hands and stay safe during the CoronaVirus. I know that most people do not wash their hands thoroughly enough and I am one of those people. Now more than ever, people need to keep themselves safe and wash their hands as effectively as possible.

Queston 02: Who is the audience?

The audience is everyone who is quarantining for CoronaVirus. Everyone should listen to this information because it is very useful information that can keep you safe. For younger kids, it will help to develop better cleanliness habits, and it will show adults the correct way to keep one's hands clean.

Queston 03: What message needs to be communicated?

The message that I want to get across to the audience is that everyone could use better hand washing habits. There is a correct way to wash your hands and I want to show how that method can keep you safe during the pandemic.?

Queston 04: What is the competition and marketplace?

The competition for this is the other students in the class and a CSUF in the visual arts. There is a five hundred dollar prize for whoever's submission gets chosen. We are all competing against each other to win the prize.

Queston 05: What is the context?

The context for this is the country is shut down due to the CoronaVirus. This event is to get artists inspired from their homes which are light jails now that we are in quarantine. It is to also inspire others to help flatten the curve and to stay safe during these scary times.

Queston 06: In what voice?

The voice in which this will be heard is a caring and concerned individual trying to help keep everyone else safe.

2: These are the websites i used for research

The World Health Organization: Clean Hand Protection

Center For Disease Control and Prevention: Why Wash Your Hands

The Conversation: Most people dont wash their hands properly

Forbes: Studies show how bad people are at washing their hands

3: Narrate it for videos - Voice over script

Today I am going to show you how to wash your hand according to the World Health Organization. Keeping your hands clean is one of the most important ways to keep yourself and others from getting sick, however, studies show that more than 90% of people don't wash their hands correctly. This leads to a higher chance of getting sick and spreading around harmful bacreria. With that in mind, let's get to the video. The first thing you want to do is wet your hands and get some soap. Then you want to rub your palms together Put one palm on the back of the other hand with your fingers in between each other Place your palms together with your fingers between each other Then place the back of your fingers to the palm of the other hand Grab one thumb and rotate in the palm and switch Then pinch your fingers together and rub them in the palm of the other hand
